How do I join PTEPTA?

Lucky for you, there are a couple options for purchasing a membership!

Who can join PTEPTA?

The Prairie Trail Elementary PTA is open to Prairie Trail Elementary School parents, family members, faculty, staff, students and community members. That includes you! Don't delay, join today!

Why join the PTA and what does it mean to join?

Great questions! We'd love to have you join us! Our PTA is very active within our school but PTA members show their support in a wide range of ways. The great thing about PTA is that YOU are in charge of how active you would like to be. We have many members that show their support by purchasing a membership for themselves and maybe their spouse. We have members that join and stop in a few times a year to help with special events like class parties or book fair. Joining the PTA does not mean you have to volunteer within the school, it just means that we're able to reach a wider audience within our school and communities. We've got lots of ways to get involved or show support that can cater to just about anyone's level of commitment.

What are the benefits of joining the PTA?

There are a number of benefits of joining the PTA! Becoming a member increases our ability to provide funding for the numerous engaging programs, events and supplies we're able to purchase and provide to enrich the lives and learning of all of our PTE students. Furthermore, members receive substantial discounts on Spirit Wear purchases through the Prairie Trail PTA as well as many great benefits through the state and national PTAs. In addition, the more members we have, the more we can work to advocate for public education on the local, state and national levels to make sure our children continue to receive a top notch education.

Member Offers through National PTA include discounts on everything from car rentals, mortgages and insurance to AARP memberships and magazine subscriptions.
